The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Narasaraopet Engineering College commence 10 days’ workshop on “Big Data Analytics” at college premises on 11-May-2016. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. CH Raghavendra Rao, Professor, Central University of Hyderabad along with college principal, Dr. Rammohan Rao.
Addressing the students he said, “The analysis of data is very much useful and essential for various business organization. The data analysis will result in planning of profits of business organization in future perspective. The data is being generated from various social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter is also useful to estimate the number of users. Hence these is a lot of demand for data analysis”.
The workshop is being organized in collaboration with Andhra Pradesh department of Science and Technology. The workshop will continue till 21-May-2016 which includes paper presentations, PowerPoint presentations, guest lectures, technical sessions, research activities and many more. The students of CSE department will take part in this workshop. Professors from Hyderabad Central University, JNTU Kakinada and Osmania University will deliver guest lectures. Reputed companies, Infosys and Flipkart will also participate in this workshop.
The inaugural session was attended by College Chairman, Metupalli Chakravarthy, HOD of CSE department Dr.N. Tirumala Rao and faculty members.
