Bihar Board Class 10 Results 2018 were out on June 26, 2018. This year, 68.89% of students passed Class 10 exams in Bihar state. Going by the statistics and the comparison to the previous year’s results, the pass percentage has improved by a total of 18%.
Bihar board claimed that the exams were conducted in a free and fair manner. It further denied rumours on the question paper leak. The Bihar board exams were conducted from February 21 to February 28, 2018.
Bihar Board Class 10 Toppers 2018 & Result Highlights:
- The topper of Bihar Board Class 10 exams 2018 was Prerana Raj who scored 457/500 marks.
- Shikha Kumari and Pragya shared the second rank in board exams. These students scored 454/500 marks.
- Anupriya Kumari stood at the third place with 452/500 marks.
- Sixteen students from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya featured in the list of top 10 ranks in Bihar Board Exams 2018.
- A total of 1,89,326 students passed with first division, while 6,63,884 candidates cleared in the second division followed by 3,57,103 students passed in the third division.
- Apart from that, 1,304 students will have to reappear for the board exams.

The primary reasons why there was an improvement in the pass percentage of the class 10 board students were the changes in the Bihar Board exam pattern with the introduction of 50% objective questions, digitisation of exam processes and use of OMR sheets.
The board took stringent measures to ensure fair conduct of exams. Despite some instances of malpractices and rumours on question paper leak, the exams were conducted successfully without any hindrance.
