CBSE Class 10, 12 Compartment Exam Guidelines- Instructions

 Central Board of Secondary Education, or CBSE, has released the Class 10 and Class 12 compartment exam date sheets and along with that certain guidelines have also been issued that are to be followed on the exam day.

CBSE Compartment Exam Guidelines

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the CBSE class 10 and 12 compartment date sheet. The board will conduct CBSE Class 10 compartment exam 2020 from September 22-28, 2020, and the CBSE Class 12 compartment exams will be conducted from September 22-29, 2020. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, CBSE Compartment exams will be conducted following certain guidelines and strict health protocols.

CBSE Compartment Exams 2020: Important Guidelines

The important guidelines and health protocols which are to be followed during CBSE compartment exams are as follows:

  • Those appearing in the CBSE class 10, 12 compartment exams will have to carry their own hand sanitizer and water bottle (clear bottles)
  • It is mandatory for the candidates to cover their mouth and nose either with a mask or piece of cloth.
  • Parents/ Guardians will have to ensure that their ward is not sick and in case a child is not feeling well, it is the duty of the parent/ guardian to inform the board
  • The duration of each exam will be mentioned on the datasheet and on the admit card
  • The answer booklets will be distributed to the students between 10.00 AM to 10.15 AM.
  • The question paper will be distributed to the student 15 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
  •  Candidate appearing for the CBSE Compartmental Examination in a subject which includes work are required to appear in theory only in case they have passed the practical examination.
  • .Private candidate should contact the Principal of the school of their theory examination centers for the date and time of practical examination before the theory examination is over. The practical examination should be completed before 28th Sept 2020
