Admissions to the Certificate Courses in Archives Management are about to be conducted from 3rd February to 6th March 2020. The School of Archival Studies at the National Archives of India had released an Admission Notice titled '39th Short Term Certificate Course in Archives Management' on 3rd December 2019. The course aims to train a candidate in the proper management of archives and records right from their acquisition to storage. Eligibility Criteria for Certificate Courses in Archives Management
Candidate must be a graduate in any stream from a recognised university. However, it is mentioned that students with a background in Humanities will be preferred for the programme.

Age Limit: Private candidates below 30 years of age can apply for this course. For sponsored candidates, the age limit is 50 years. The notification also mentions that age relaxation as per government norms is provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved category.

How to Apply: Follow the steps given below:
Head to the official website of the National Archives of India.
In the 'What's New' section of the website, click on the notification titled 'Admission Notice for 39th Short Term Certificate Course in Archives Management'.
Take a print out of the notice and fill the Application Form available inside the application notice.
Attach attested copies of educational qualifications along with the application.
An application fee of Rs. 100 must also be included, paid by the means of a Postal Order or Bank Draft drawn in favour of '
AdministrativeOfficer, National Archives of India, Janpath, New Delhi-110001'
Send the completed application form, along with the documents and application fees, to 'The Director-General of Archives, National Archives of India, Janpath, New Delhi-110001'

The course fee for certificate courses in archive management is Rs.300 which has to be paid at the time of admission.
Selection Process for Certificate Courses in Archive Management
The selection of candidates for this course will be done on merit basis as per marks scored in the qualifying examination.
