Cluster University Jammu, Kashmir Exams from July 1

Cluster University Srinagar and Cluster University Jammu will hold the end semester examination of 2018 batch undergraduate, integrated and B.Tech students from July.

Cluster University Srinagar and Cluster University Jammu will conduct the exam to promote students to the next semester. The CUJ has decided to conduct the college wise and school (faculty) for all semesters from 1st July. The authorities will provide one-time relaxation to the students in the exam pattern.

The University will conduct the terminal semester exams from July 1 to July 15, 2020, and the date sheet form the same will be issued by the principals of the respective college. Similarly, college wise UG intermediate semester examinations for 2nd, 4th, and 5th semester will take place after 16th July.

The Vice-Chancellor Cluster University Srinagar informed that CUS will conduct examinations for the final year (6th semester) students as per the University Grant Commission (UGC) guidelines). The exams will be conducted in the objective mode - MCQ type and will take place from the 2nd week of July.

However, the university has decided to promote the students of the second and fourth semester of UG and five years of integrated courses on the basis of the internal assessment. No exams will take place for these students. The exam notification for the submission of online examination forms will be issued by the Controller of Examination.

Meanwhile, Kashmir University has decided to do away with semester exams. The mode of internal assessment is yet to be decided by the varsity. The decision to do away with the exams has been taken by the Head of Departments in consultation with their respective Departmental Committees.

In case, any candidate has a backlog in the 2nd and 5th semester, then the assessment will be done along with the students of 3rd and 5th-semester students of 2018 batch.
