A historic decision was taken on 15th June’ 16 by Silvani, Member of Parliament and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. They made an announcement to continue to give a Higher Education Fund for Assistance to bright and brilliant students who belong to the poor sections of our country. They will be provided fund on the basis of their worth and not on the basis of their caste and creed.
This fund will be provided to students who wish to study in IIMs, IITs, engineering and medical colleges and cannot afford to join these institutions. The state government will pay for their education and not their parents says Mr. Chouhan while he was launching the 'School Chale Hum' campaign. “School Chale Hum” campaign is launched with an aim to increase the number of enrolments in government schools in the MP’s Raisen district.
The Chief Minister wishes for a future where no child is uneducated and all of them are independent. A huge number of people attended this event. Later, CM distributed the following goods to them:
- Text-Books
- School Bags
- Chocolates
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also gave out tricycles and wheelchairs to the physically-challenged students.
We think that the effort is remarkable and will help in the upliftment and development of the country.
