A third year student of Andhra Loyola College, Vijaywada R Divya Sai has been awarded Col. Choudary Medal for the year 2015 by the Governor at Home Ceremony, on February 6, 2016. The programme was held to honour the cadets who participated in Republic Day Camp in the year 2015.
Governor for Telugu States E S L Narasimhan had presented her the award at Governor's House, said the management of the college. In a release to the media, it is also mentiones that Divya Sai is the only cadet to receive this award among the two Telugu States. She has been congratulated for her performance in various competitions.
She is the first student from Andhra Loyola College to receive this medal. She was also selected for the youth exchange programme. It is also worth mentioning that she has won the Chief Minister's Gold Medal in the Best Cadet category.
An appreciation letter was given away to Divya Sai who was welcomed with applause by the administration and management of the college.
