The first phase of counselling of Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) has commenced on 28-June-2016. The counselling will continue till 12-July-2016. The counselling is being conducted in offline mode where the qualified candidates of the test have to appear at the helpline centre and get their certificates verified. The counselling is being conducted in 7 sessions every day where the first 6 sessions are for allotted ranks and the last session is for late comers.
The second phase of counselling will in the fourth week of July. COMEDK is an entrance exam conducted by the Government of Karnataka for the admission its various engineering colleges across Karnataka. The counselling included verification of certificates, choosing options and seat allotment.
The COMEDK UGET was held on 8-May-2016 across 697 centres among 153 cities. There are 181 engineering colleges in Karnataka which are offering 20,000 engineering seats. A total number of 55,680 candidates have appeared for the test.
