The dates for COMEDK UGET 2017 which is conducted by Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has been postponed by a week. In a press release from the office of COMEDK, it was stated that the test dates are revised for the undergraduate engineering streams only.
An official of COMEDK said that now UGET 2017 for Engineering courses will be held on Sunday, 14th May 2017. Before that, the examination was supposed to be held on 7th May 2017. There will be no change in its eligibility criteria
The decision in this regard was taken so as to avoid the clash between NEET 2017 and COMEDK UGET 2017. Since a lot of students will appear for both the examinations, the COMEDK decided to defer its dates by a week. Now, as a result, students will be able to appear for both the examinations.
COMEDK UGET 2017 for the engineering stream is a computer based test which is conducted in an online mode. COMEDK is being backed by the Associations of Medical, Dental and Engineering (mostly private colleges) of Karnataka for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses.
