Since the CSIR NET paper leak incident took place in Haryana, the release of the answer key has likely been delayed. Although the NTA has not made any official statement yet, as per the speculation, it may wait for the police investigation report before releasing the official key. However, if there is no delay and everything goes according to the regular schedule, then the CSIR NET answer key 2025 might be released today, i.e., on December 24, 2025, in the evening. If not, it can be assumed that the answer key is postponed until further notice.

The CSIR UGC NET December 2025 exam was conducted on December 18, 2025, all across the nation. While the exam was held smoothly in all states, reports indicate that the question paper was leaked in Haryana a day before the exam. Describing the case further, a total of 37 students were alleged to be coached in a building in Haryana’s Sonepat from the leaked question paper booklet. Moreover, the local reports suggest that the two perpetrators, ie, Neeraj Dhanakad and Sachin, have been arrested. The official authority, ie, the NTA, and the state government are yet to make an official statement about this case.

The prior trends suggest that the National Testing Agency tends to release the provisional CSIR NET answer key nearly 4-9 days after the conclusion of the exam. However, as per the final key, it gets released almost 1-2 months post the exam. But since the December 2025 exam was held on a single day, the provisional answer key, along with the one released by December 24, 2025, most likely by evening. The authority is expected to facilitate the objection window on the same day and keep it open for 2-3 days. The final CSIR key, however, is anticipated to be issued after 2-3 months of the exam.
