CTET 2022 Selection Procedure: Test takers appearing for CTET will be selected based on their scores in the examination. According to the selection criteria, candidates of the general category have to score at least 60% marks to qualify for the exam, and 55% in the case of the reserved category. - Test takers are shortlisted for CTET 2022 based on their performance in the written examination.
- The candidates belonging to the General category have to secure at least 60% marks (55 % in the case of the reserved category)
- Aspirants should also meet the minimum eligibility criteria based on qualifying for the CTET paper.
- As per the reservation policy, SC/ST, OBC, and differently-abled persons will get concessions from some schools.
- Those qualifying for the CTET exam can undergo the selection process for appointment and apply to schools for the relevant teacher posts.
- Test takers who will successfully qualify for the exam will be issued CTET 2022 certificate which is valid for a lifetime through which they will be able to apply for private and central govt. schools.
- It must be noted that qualifying for the CTET exam would not confer a right on any person for recruitment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
- Aspiramts who are not satisfied with their exam scores but have qualified for the exam may appear again to improve their scores. No restriction on the number of attempts is there for candidates to get a CTET certificate.
