CUCET 2022 notification will be released today. There is no common counselling process this year for CUCET 2022. All the participating universities will prepare a merit list based on the scores.
NEW DELHI: CUCET 2022 official notification is expected to be released today by National Testing Agency announced by M Jagadesh Kumar Chairman University Grants Commission. The notification clearly defines everything in detail. The official notification of CUCET 2022 is going to be out today, which gives every minute detail of CUCET 2022 like structure, examination pattern, admission process, and so on. The National Testing Agency is going to conduct CUCET 2022 for about 45 Central Universities. However, the participating universities of CUCET 2022, will have the freedom in defining their admission processes. CUCET 2022 examination score is very essential to take admission to these 45 central universities. CUCET 2022 application form will be released immediately after the official notifciation.
While explaining the examination of CUCET 2022, Jagadesh Kumar stated that the ultimate aim is to provide and increase the students’ choice regarding admission at the same time decrease the burden of the admission process. CUCET 2022 is going to be conducted in the first week of July. CUCET 2022 examination will have three major integrants that include Language Test, domain-specific exam, and a general test. CUCET 2022 Scores will have weightage for the post-graduation admissions as well.

The National Testing Agency is going to conduct CUCET 2022 13 language tests out of them one is compulsory for every candidate, 27 domain-specific exams, and 19 language tests which are optional for the candidates. These 27 domains cover accountancy, biology, biotechnology, economics, history, performing arts, and so on.
Major Highlights of CUCET 2022 Exam
- CUCET 2022 will be conducted in 27 domains out of which 6 Subjects should be chosen by the candidates.
- For all the candidates one language test is compulsory.
- Aspirants can select the language of their own choice to write the exam.
- In Section- 1A candidates have the liberty to write Hindi, Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, Odia, Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Urdu, Kannada, and English.
- There are 19 other languages, which can be opted if the candidate wants to pursue a language undergraduate course. Some of those languages are French, German, Japanese, Russian, Bodo, Santhali, and so on
- There will be two shifts each day.
- In the morning shift, candidates will write a compulsory language test and two domain-specific tests, and the general test.
No Common Counselling for CUCET 2022
National Testing Agency along with University Grants Commission has come to the conclusion that won`t be a common counselling process for CUCET 2022. But merit list will be prepared based on the scores of CUCET 2022. Based on the merit list which will be prepared by University admissions will be taken. Kumar also opined and wished if state universities, private universities, deemed universities use CUCET 2022 Score in their admission process.
Universities should include a practical exam along with CUCET 2022 Score for performing arts courses like theatre, art music, etc. NTA is going to release an official notification tomorrow.
