CUCET 2022 (CUET) Notification Released: Check major highlights

CUCET 2022 official notification has been released by National Testing Agency. The online application form of CUCET 2022 will be released on April 2, 2022. The aspirants who would like to appear for CUCET 2022 will have to complete the registration process of CUCET 2022. Before filling up the application form for CUCET 2022, candidates are advised to check their eligibility criteria. All the other very important details of CUCET 2022 can be checked on this page.  

Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is conducted once a year for the candidates, who would like to take admissions in participating central universities of CUCET. CUCET is conducted by the National Testing Agency. CUCET is conducted for seekers of admissions into Integrated, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Research programmes of participating universities of CUCET. According to some of the official sources, the list of participating universities is going to be increased. Recently Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Banaras Hindu University joined the list. There will be a slight change in the examination pattern.

Important Instructions to Choose Subjects in CUCET 2022 Application Form

Some of the important instructions regarding choosing different subjects in the CUET 2022 application form are as follows -

• Each candidate is allowed to choose a maximum of 3 languages for Section 1A and 1B together
• Out of 27 subjects available in Section II, each candidate will be allowed to choose a maximum of 6 subjects
• Section III of the exam is common to every candidate, i.e., General Test

• Section IA – 13 Languages
• Section IB – 19 Languages
• Section II – 27 Domain-specific Subjects
• Section III – General Test

NTA has specified that it is not mandatory to choose options from each section. Only that the choices should match the university requirements.
