However, the candidates can pay the transaction fees on or before February 7, 2026 (up to 11.50 PM). To pay the fees, the candidates should log in to their portal using the CUET UG application number and password. Note that only the successfully registered candidates can log in to their portal. However, if the candidates have forgotten their login credentials, they do not need to be worried. They can easily retrieve both the application number and password.

CUET UG 2026: Steps to Retrieve Application Number
Candidates can refer to the following steps to retrieve the CUET UG application number in the following section:
- Click on the above highlighted direct link
- Click on the “Forgot application number” link
- Provide the details such as the candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth
- Submit the details, and the CUET UG application number will be displayed on the screen. Note that the application number will also be sent to the registered email/ mobile number of the candidates
- Save the CUET UG application number and save it for future reference
CUET UG 2026: Steps to Reset Password
To reset the CUET UG 2026 password, the candidates can refer to the following steps:
- Go through the same login window
- Click on the “Forgot Password?” on the login page

Select any of these three recovery options provided:
- Security Question: Enter the answer to the selected question (you chose during registration)
- SMS Verification: An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number
- Email Link: A reset link for the password will be sent to the registered email address
- Follow the instructions and create a new password
Once the CUET UG application number and password are retrieved, the candidates can pay the application fees before the last date.
