• Beijing witnesses first population decline since 2003:

The capital of China, Beijing witnessed a decline in its population growth for the first time since 2003 as the country’s death rate surpassed its birth rate, data records.  

• Japan PM visit Ukraine to show support as Xi backs Putin:

Japan Prime Minster, Fumio Kishida met Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv on Tuesday to show support for its war against Russia. In the latest press conference, Kishida assured aid to Ukraine with the greatest effort to regain peace.

• IMF approves $3bn bailout to Sri Lanka:

Debt-stricken Sri Lanka gets its first tranche of $3 billion bailout approved by IMF. President Ranil Wickremesinghe said the monetary aid will hopefully ease the country’s dire economic crisis.

Strong tremors shook parts of Delhi and NCR sending shock waves across the region as an earthquake of magnitude 6.6 hit North India on Tuesday.

• Gahlot presents Delhi Budget for 2023-24

Delhi Finance Minister Kailash Gahlot along with CM Arvind Kejriwal presented the annual budget of INR 78,800 Crores for the financial year 2023-24 at the Assembly today. This is the first time that Gahlot is presenting the budget. Earlier, all 8 budgets were presented by Manish Sisodia.

• South Africa vs West Indies 3rd ODI: Heinrich Klaasen slams a 54-ball century

South African batsman Heinrich Klaasen slams a spectacular century off just 54 balls to chase down a 250-run target in 29.3 overs. Unbeaten on 119, Klassen remained led the team to victory with 123 balls to spare.
