Dates for admission in Lucknow University and affiliated colleges that run three Master of Education (M.Ed.) has been extended .
Students now can apply with late fees of Rs 1000 till May 25 . Earlier deadline for M.Ed. application was May 20. The application fee for General and OBC students is 1,600 and Rs 800 for SC ST students for M. ED courses.
The online application forms can be downloaded from official university website . After filling the admission form students will have to submit it to Department of Education(LU) with all certificates and documents attached with that form.
M.Ed. admission Admission Test (MAT) will be held for the the admission, which will be on May 28. An interview will be held on June 25, and after that a merit list will be announced basis of both exams on July 7.
Counseling for selected students will take place on July 12, while classes will begin from July 16.

M.Ed. Course of University of Lucknow is conducted by its Faculty of Education. Faculty is equipped with modern facilities and infrastructure of research (for Ph.D. & D.Litt.) in Education. The teachers of the Faculty are known for conducting and supervising research on various aspects of Primary, Secondary, Higher and Teacher Education.
