Dhanekula Institute Celebrated Anniversary Day
Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vijayawada celebrated Anniversary day at college ground on 19-March-2016 in a grand manner. The chief guest for the celebrations was G.Venkateswara Rao, Chief Operations Officer, KCP Sugar Industries.
The celebrations commenced with a classical dance and welcome song by final year students. College chairman, Dr.Tagore delivered the welcome address and proudly announced that the college placement percentage has been risen to 85% in the academic year 2015-16. He also said that a special course in communication skills is being organized by placement cell of the college. He appreciated the efforts of Professors and lectures in bringing out a pass percentage of 90%. He congratulated the meritorious students of the college and congratulated the students who got selected in campus placements.
Addressing the students’ chief guest said that, “Students have to develop a positive attitude and healthy confidence”. He suggested the students to use their talents for the sake of their own country rather than working in foreign countries. He encouraged the students to take part in various competitions.
Prizes were distributed to the meritorious students of the college and winners of various literary and sports competitions. Cultural programs commenced after the formal proceedings. Students mesmerized the audience by their sizzling dance performances and dazzling fashion show. The cultural programs lasted till 10.00 PM. The entire college premises was filled with joy and pomp.
