Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Govt. of India, has selected Four Third Year DKTE's Textile Technology Students from the Institute for Summer Internship.
Students will have an opportunity to utilize the World Standard infrastructural facilities at DRDO and also they will have a benefit of carrying out research project on “Thermal Properties of Advanced Fibres like Nomex & Kevlar” under the guidance of eminent Scientists from DRDO.
The students are :
- Mr.Akash Bangad
- Mr.Abhay Rathi
- Mr.Umesh Tiwari
- Mr.Meghraj Choudhari.
The students were felicitated by D.K.T.E Management Prakash Awade, Principal Dr.P.V.Kadole, HOD Textiles and faculty members.
DRDO is working in various areas of military technology which include aeronautics, armaments, combat vehicles, electronics, instrumentation engineering systems, missiles, materials, naval systems, advanced computing, simulation and life sciences.
