DTE Makes Changes in Admission Process from this Year in Maharashtra

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) made a big change in the admission process of engineering and other courses from this year in Maharashtra.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has now changed the admission norms for engineering and other professional courses. The changes are mostly made in admission under the management quota seats.
The admission procedure will begin from the first week of June with the introduction of new norms.

The students who have registered themselves with ‘Facility centre’ of DTE will only be eligible for the seats under the management quota. Admissions will not be given to students not registered with the facility centre. Until last year, the management quota seats were filled up as per the wish of the colleges.

To avoid inconvenience to students the registrations process has already been started before the announcement of MHT-CET results. The registrations will continue till June 15 .

There will be no registration fees for the MHT-CET candidates, however, the JEE general category candidates will have to pay 800 and reserved category candidates 600 for registrations.

Sources further informed that after the registration the candidates will have submitted and fill application form at the facility centre approved by DTE.
After which the provisional merit list of the successful candidates will be declared and the seats will be allotted through centralised admission process (CAP). after the seat is allotted the candidate will have to report to the admission reporting centre of DTE.
