- The CAP Round 1 involves four key steps: option form filling, seat allotment, seat acceptance with error rectification, and reporting to institutes.
- Candidates must fill out and confirm their option form online through their login.
- Once the option form is confirmed, no changes or cancellations will be allowed.
- After seat allotment, candidates must accept their seat by choosing either "Freeze" or "Not Freeze" (for betterment) and pay the seat acceptance fee online, while also verifying the authenticity of their claims.
- If any errors are found in the application, candidates can report grievances through e-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny Mode to correct them.
- The Seat Acceptance Fee is Rs 1,000, which is non-refundable and must be paid online.
- Candidates allotted their first preference can accept the seat and pay the fee, but they won't be eligible for subsequent rounds.
- Candidates satisfied with a seat other than their first preference can freeze their allotment and pay the fee, but they won't be eligible for subsequent rounds.
- Candidates who have accepted a seat must report to the allotted institute for confirmation of admission. The institute will verify documents, upload admission details online, and issue a confirmation receipt.
