DU CSAS Official Website 2022 was launched by DU's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Yogesh Singh, on September 12, 2022. Through DU CSAS Portal, online counselling and admission process will be carried out through CUET examination.
DU Admissions 2022: For 2022-23 admissions and onwards, to make the admission process simple, transparent, and efficient for all, the University of Delhi has launched an admissions web portal at https://admission.uod.ac.in. This portal has been named as Common Seat Allocation System, or CSAS for short. Moreover, henceforth this year, DU Admissions will be done based on the scores of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).

This year, DU Admissions will be done in 79 programmes across 67 colleges/departments/centres, which also includes 206 combinations for the BA degree programme. During the launch of the DU CSAS Portal on September 12, the university’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Yogesh Singh, informed that around 6.14 lakh students have preferred Delhi University for their higher studies.

To simplify the admission process, DU Admissions through the CSAS portal are divided into three phases: i. Application, ii. Choice Filling, and iii. Seat Allocation. Speaking at the event, Prof. Yogesh Singh continued that there will be two or more allocation rounds so that applicants do not face any problems and upgradation opportunity is given to the students before the admissions move on to the spot round. The admission process is likely to be over before November 01, the projected date for the start of the academic session.
It is to be noted that CUET scores are mandatory for DU Admissions 2022 and to ease out the application process further, all the personal details of the candidates will be auto-generated from their CUET application form. DU has also decided that there will be additional allotment in Round 1. For UR/OBC/EWS categories, the additional allotment will be 20% while for SC/ST/PwBD categories, the same will be 30%.
The registrations for the undergraduate admissions for 2022-23 through CUET have already begun at DU CSAS Portal. Interested candidates can now register and apply through DU Admissions CSAS Portal using their CUET 2022 Application Number and their Date of Birth. While there are no fees for registration, a one-time and non-refundable DU CSAS Application Form Fee is applicable (UR/OBC/EWS: INR 250/- and SC/ST/PwD: INR 100/-).
