ECC SSports Meet called off due to heavy rains in Allahabad.

Allahabad's temperature took everyone by surprise and the 5-day sports meet organised by Ewing Christian College (ECC), Allahabad was called off, as the sports ground was filled with rain water. The games were supposed to be starting in the morning at 9am, along with the prayer ceremony.

Ewing Christian College is a Christian minority institute, affiliated to the University of Allahabad. ECC is known for its education system, discipline and quality of academics. Their sports meet of ECC is equally famous in Allahabad.

The events lined up included:

• Long Jump Final
• Discuss Throw Final
• Javelin Throw Final

Due to non-stop rains, the scheduled programmes were called off.
