The second convocation of Dr Shakuntala Mishra Rehabilitation University was held after a delay of three months on May 29.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was to attend the convocation but could not attend it due to some reasons, while Supreme Court’s justice Deepak Mishra was the chief guest of this event. The convocation was hosted by the Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik, who honoured 67 passed out students with gold medals.

While 67 students were honoured with the gold medal by the Governor, 241 students were given their degrees during the ceremony. Girls of the University bagged 44 out of 67 medals while the boys managed to get only 23 medals.
