Is 30 a Good Score in JEE Main?

No, 30 is not a good score in JEE Main, especially for the General, OBC, and EWS categories. However, it might allow admission to candidates belonging to SC and ST to various engineering colleges, though it will be limited through central counselling and more through state-level counselling, if any. The score is also unlikely to be sufficient for qualifying JEE Advanced. Therefore, based on the category, candidates can decide to appear for JEE Main for the second attempt and improve their scores.

This time, the number of registrations, and the appearing candidates were higher, therefore candidates need to have a competitive score to be able to seek admission to their preferred engineering courses and colleges. If a candidate plans to take a second attempt, then they must work on their weaknesses, polish their strengths, and appear for more mock tests to secure better marks.
