Flipkart & Shaw Academy Collaborate to Launch Four-Week Photography Course
Reputed e-commerce platform Flipkart and a giant in online education Shaw Academy have been collaborated to introduce online certificate courses in photography. The collaboration will witness live education integrated into the Flipkart customer journey and facilitate Indian customers to avail a range of online live courses focused on practical courses. The collaboration will focus on Flipkart customers having access to four-week photography course which will be delivered by Shaw Academy.
An Irish government delegation visited the Shaw Academy office in Bangalore during an Enterprise Ireland Trade Mission to India. On this occasion, the announcement regarding the alliance between Flipkart and Shaw Academy has been made. Currently, Shaw Academy teaches 40,000 new students every month and the agreement with Flipkart will build company’s ethos of reducing cost and providing high-quality solutions to customers.
Breen, a Minister from Ireland, pointed that Shaw Academy is a shining example of how Irish companies can succeed in the Indian market through investing in local talent and understanding the customer. The agreement with Flipkart not only delivers education but also adds value to the Flipkart customer proposition.
Adarsh K Menon, Vice President (Electronics) at Flipkart mentioned that the scope for photography has been increasing and the demand for photography can be witnessed in Flipkart's camera & camera’s accessories category. Hence, the association with Shaw Academy is a step forward in offering benefits to customers and allowing them to find right products at competitive prices on Flipkart.
