Future Institute of Engineering and Management organised National Seminar
Future Institute of Engineering and Management (FIEM) organised A National Seminar on Applications of Distributed System - Recent Trends on March 4th, 2016. The Seminar was organised by the department of Masters in Computer Applications.
The seminar was basically focused on the usage of Big Data Analysis, Cloud Computing, Virtual Memory Usage etc. Students from all departments of the college along with students from other colleges were present in the Seminar with their eagerness to learn from the champions in this field. Famous Faculties and eminent persons like Assistant Professor from Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Calcutta Sunirmal Khatua, Prof Chandan Mazumdar from Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jadavpur University, Mr Rajmohan De Sarkar, Director, Ardent Computech Pvt. Ltd.
The National Seminar was inaugurated by Dr Mousumi Ghosh. Followed by, Prof. Sunirmal Khatua gave his speech about Cloud Computing and Virtualization. He focused more on how to use cloud computing platforms and how to save and implement big data while working on cloud networks.Later, Prof. Chandan Mazumdar spoke and discussed Big data handling systems and after that, Mr. Rajmohan De Sarkar elaborated the benefits of Big data and Hadoop systems.
All the sessions were very much interactive as a large number of students said that they were very much benefitted by the Seminar and it has made much easier for them to understand the different advantages of Big data analysis and Cloud Computing and it will make them implement and handle these two advantages with a great ease at studies and also at work in near future.
