GATE Admit Card 2026 (Postponed) LIVE UpdatesGATE Admit Card 2026 : Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati has postponed the direct link to download GATE Admit Card 2026 for the exam scheduled on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, for all registered candidates. Initially, the admit card of GATE 2026 was supposed to be released on January 2. Once the admit card is released, you will be able to access and download the hall ticket at gate2026.iitg.ac.in . For convenience, the direct link to download the admit card has been provided below. To access the hall ticket, you have to click on the link and then log in to your dashboard by entering your enrollment ID and password.

The admit card will be a crucial document for the examination as it will be required for identification purposes. It will include details such as the candidate’s name, signature, exam date, time, exam address, venue, exam-day instructions, and others. Before downloading, you should check all the details and report any discrepancies to the authorities (if found). This admit card will be valid lifelong; therefore, candidates must take out multiple copies in case they misplace one. Candidates should check if all the details are properly printed on the hall ticket before taking a printout. If the information is not properly visible in the hall ticket, then it might not be considered for the verification process, and as a result, the applicant's candidature will be cancelled for the test on the scheduled dates.

What to do if I misplace the GATE 2026 Exam Admit Card?
If you misplace the GATE 2026 Exam Admit Card, you will not be allowed to appear at the examination hall without it. Neither will digital copy be allowed for the verification purpose. However, you can login to GOAPS portal, download your hall ticket by entering your login credentials and take a printout and show it to the officials for the next processes. Considering that all this might take time, reach much before the reporting time, so that you have sufficient time to take the printout.
