As IISc Bangalore has released the results for GATE Results for 2024 on
March 16
, the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) registration process has begun on the official website, iitk.ac.in. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is administrating GATE COAP counselling this year. As per the information provided by IIT Kanpur, candidates having qualified scores in GATE 2024, 2023, and 2022 sessions are eligible to apply for admission to M.Tech programmes in various IITs and NITs for 2024-25 academic year. The candidates can fill out their GATE COAP Application Form 2024 on the official exam portal by using their GATE credentials. GATE COAP 2024 Registration: List of Important Details Required to Apply
In the process of applying online for GATE COAP Registration 2024, the candidates must keep their information and documents ready. Here is the list of important documents required in the online application process:
Candidate Name: The spelling of the candidate’s name must match with the details in the GATE Scorecard
GATE Registration Number: Candidates who have a valid GATE score from 2024/2023/2022 exams can apply with their GATE registration numbers
Valid GATE Score: Marks scored in the previous GATE exam
Date of Birth: The date must match the date of birth mentioned in your Class X mark sheet and GATE application form
Email ID: A verified email ID where all future communication will be conducted by the COAP authority
Mobile Number: Correct contact number where the verification OTP will be received.
Besides these details, the candidate must keep all of their previous qualification certificates including Graduation, Class XII, and Class X mark sheets. Also, scanned copies of aadhaar card, Category certificate (if required), and disability certificate (if required) must be kept ready
