The cutoff is determined based on the total number of candidates who pass the test, seat availability, and the difficulty level of the examination. The difficulty level of the examination is indirectly proportional to the cutoff score. If the difficulty level increases to last year, the cutoff score will decrease, and vice versa.
Keeping this year’s difficulty level in mind, GATE ES expected cutoff marks 2024 have been stated here. The cutoff marks have been provided, along with cutoff scores for the General category only. Until the official cutoff PDF is released by IISc Bangalore, candidates belonging to the General category can refer to the table to determine if they can meet the qualifying cutoff and pass the GATE ES 2024 examination or not.
