George Engineering College Celebrated Graduation Day
George Engineering College celebrated Graduation Day for 2012-2016 academic years on 17-May-2016. The college premise was decorated in a delightful manner by the students. The chief guest of the occasion was, Acharya Veeraiah, Vice Chancellor of Vikrama Simha University. DSP of Markapuram, Mr. Srihari was the guest of honor. The celebrations were inaugurated by the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor by lightening the lamp along with college Director and Principal.
Addressing the students, the chief guest said that “The engineering students play an important role in the development of nation. In other words engineers are considered as architects of the nation. Engineers build the nation by coping up the needs of future generations. Students have to develop research attitude. Learning is a continuous process. Students have to learn from their mistakes and work for better results”.
Later the chief guest awarded the students certificates and greeted them for their bright career. College principal said, “The College has been successfully training the students in a way of achieving higher standards in career for the past 20 years. The college has an excellent placement percentage. Around 260 students got selected in campus placements in the academic year 2015-2016”.
Students performed various cultural activities and the Vote of Thanks was delivered by student coordinator.
