As the MH CET Law 3-year LLB entrance exam concludes its first day of sessions today, i.e., April 1, 2026, thousands of law aspirants are asking the most critical question: What will be the cutoff for the premier institutes like GLC Mumbai and ILS Law College, Pune?

As per the initial reactions, the cutoffs are expected to rise this year. The biggest reason for a potential increase this year is the revised exam pattern. In 2025, the State CET Cell reduced the total questions from 150 to 120, while the duration of 120-minutes were the same.

Early student reactions from Shift 1 and Shift 2 today suggest the paper was "Moderate". English was easier than other sections. With more time per question and a manageable difficulty level this year, raw scores will naturally be higher, pushing the cutoff upwards.

Students should note that this is just a predicted cutoff, the official cutoff will only be known during the Centralised Admission Process, popularly known as CAP. Aspirants with a score over 105 are expected to be in "safe zone" for a top-tier Mumbai or Pune law colleges like GLC Mumbai & ILS.
