GNIET Students Visit MOIL
An Industrial visit at MOIL was conducted by the department of Electrical Engineering, GNIET for VI semester students.
Students visited MOIL and learn about the operations in industry and how it works.
GNIT Nagpur established in 2007 by GNI society is one of the top engineering colleges under RTMNU is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra.
The college has lush green surrounding which provides a conducive environment for students to grow not only as good Engineers but as world class citizens too. The campus is situated in the vicinity of MIDC Kalmeshwar which is the heart of the industrial zone.Spread over a sprawling 25 acres, the natural form of the landscape has been preserved.
A total of 70 students visited Kandri mine and Mansar mine. Prof H Murkute and Prof Y Gajbhiye accompanied students.
Students understood the indoor substation, single line diagram, parallel operation of a transformer, generator details, vertical shaft details, segregation of magnesium, LT panels and HT panels, power factor improvement and speed control of IM (Frequency drive).
The students acknowledged support and encouragement of chairman and managing director Sardar Navneet Singh Tuli, managing director Tanpreet Kaur Tuli and others.
