Marks Required to Secure Second Division in UP Board 10th Result 2023
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is expected to release UP Board 10th Result 2023 on April .., 2023. The UP Board will make UPMSP 10th result 2023 available at upmsp.edu.in, from where students can check the online result using their roll numbers. Students will be awarded grades and divisions based on the marks they have obtained in the UP Board 10th exam 2023 which was held from February 16 to March 3, 2023. The UP Board 10th result comprises grades for each subject on the basis of the UP Board 10th grading system. As per the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) pattern introduced by the board, the theoretical exams were conducted for 70 marks, while the total marks allotted for the practicals/ internal assessments were 30 marks. Students must acquire a minimum of 33% in order to pass the UP Board class 10 exams 2023. Those who score between 45% and 59%, will be considered to have passed into the second division. Also, after completing Class 10, if students have any doubts or require assistance with career planning, they may try out the Career Compass Test which is basically a test with a few questions, that will help them understand their career paths best.

UP Board 10th Passing Marks 2023
According to the qualifying mandates set by the UP Board under the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) pattern,- Exam weightage for each subject is 100 marks.
- The theory exams carry a weightage of 70 marks.
- 30 marks are allotted for practicals/ internal exams (evaluated by respective schools).
- The marks of practical subjects will be counted to prepare the final result.
- One who is unable to pass one subject except for Hindi, will be considered pass.

Students who will attain a 75% and above score i.e., more than 375 marks, will be awarded a "Distinction grade". While those who score between 225 and 299 marks, will pass in the Second division. Students can find every detail about their results on their UP Board 10th mark sheet 2023 which will be issued by the board a few days after the UP Board 10th Result 2023 is declared.
