IIM Calcutta Invites Applications for Advanced Programme in Supply Chain Management Admission 2022

IIM Calcutta is open for admissions to its Advanced 1-year programme in Supply Chain Management in collaboration with Emeritus. Classes are to commence on June 30, 2022. 

IIM Calcutta invites admissions for Advanced Programme in Supply Chain Management (10th Batch)

IIM Calcutta offers the Advanced Programme in Supply Chain Management for working professionals. This year, IIM Calcutta has announced the intake for the 10th batch for the 1-year programme in Supply Chain Management. The programme will be conducted in collaboration with emeritus and online platforms. 

The Admission process for the IIM Calcutta for the Advanced Programme in Supply Chain Management is now open. The institute is offering a discount of 10% on the overall fees of the course for the candidates who take admissions on or before May 19, 2022. IIM Calcutta aims to commence the classes for the 1-year programme by June 30, 2022. This programme was initiated by IIM Calcutta to upskill the working professionals in supply chain management and benefit in career growth. This programme is most beneficial for the candidates from the manufacturing and service sector to drive their experience and better learning to frame strategies and gain profit. The 1-year advanced programme offers modelling, analytical, and contemporary strategies.

The Associate Professor, Operations Management, IIM Calcutta, Megha Sharma said that in a constantly evolving business world, fast innovations in technology in the supply chain in the global arena require upskilling and adequate knowledge and experience. As per a recent report, India will contribute majorly to the supply chain by more than USD 500 billion annually by 2030. 

Further, IIM Calcutta also claims that anyone who wishes to change their career and switch to Supply Chain Management may also opt for this programme, it will best suit them as well. The programme is structured with insights into the supply chain and with best industry practices and decision-making skills. The Operations Management, IIM Calcutta, Professor Bodhibrata Nag states the institute has imparted and upskilled about 400 candidates since its inception. He adds that candidates participating in the programme will be able to acquire skills to optimise, develop and transform the supply chain to bring a unique advantage to the organisation. 

The completion of the Supply Chain Management course will provide the candidates with a certificate from IIM Calcutta and will be recognized as the IIM Calcutta Executive Education Alumni Status.

Further, the CEO (India & APAC) of Emeritus, Mohan Kannegal states that technological evolution is making the supply chain operations complex and exclusive. As per a recent report by Gartner, by 2025, 50% of the supply chain organisations will be technological dependent. Also, Kannegal adds that while the supply chain managers focus on the demand more than the supply, it is the ideal time to upskill themselves for high growth. And with insights, assistance and knowledge from IIM Calcutta, candidates will be able to grow the overall business and become profitable.
