An MoU was signed between IIT Roorkee and Cloudxlab.com to conduct Advanced Certification Course. It is designed to upskill youth and promote e-learning during the lockdown.
IIT Roorkee has launched an Advanced Certification Course on Deep Learning at Cloudxlab.com. The course is designed to upskill the youth and promote e-learning at the time of lockdown. According to a statement released by the institute, the course is essential as people with technical skills will help the nation to tackle the current economic crisis. An MoU was signed between IIT Roorkee and Cloudxlab.com( A UDS based ed-tech company) to offer a series of instructor-led and self-paced executive online courses.
Ajit K. Chaturvedi, Director, IIT Roorkee said that the COVID-19 national lockdown is the best time for pupils to upskill themselves and the advanced course launched institute will help people who want to excel in technical fields. The course will offer the latest knowledge and tune with the needs of the industry.

He further said that the course is a new edition to the pre-existing course like Machine Learning, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence etc. The classes will be delivered by the faculty of IIT Roorkee and experts from the industry.
Students can attend the class online through live sessions and after the completion of the course, they will receive the certificate from IIT Roorkee.
Manish Shrikande, Dean, Sponsored Research and Industrial Consultancy, IIT Roorkee said that technology is rapidly advancing and this time is best for professionals to expand their skills and learn new technologies. He further said that the online certificate course launched by the institute will be beneficial for both students and professionals who wish to utilise the lockdown period upskill themselves.
