Reputed Bangalore based company Institute of Language Management conducted placement drive at Government College for Women, Guntur on 20-June-2016. The placement drive was open for UG pass outs of 2016 academic year. The interviews were conducted for the position of ‘Communicative English Trainer’. The officials of the company were welcomed in a delightful manner by the college management and students. The interviews were conducted by Regional Head, Mr. Somappa. The placement drive was inaugurated by the JKC, Coordinator of the college, Mrs. K Bhagya Lakshmi. The officials introduced the company and explained the process of interview.
Three rounds of interview were conducted which included a preliminary grammar test, group discussion and personal interview. A total number of 20 students of English Literature from various degree colleges attended the interviews. Out of them 12 students got placed in the final round i.e. personal interview. The candidates were selected on the basis of grammatical knowledge and fluency in English. The officials congratulated the students and gave them offer letters. The students are offered annual package of Rs. 2,00,000.
Two students of Government College for women were selected for ILM. The students were congratulated by the principal of the college, Dr. M Sasi Bala, JKC coordinator, Mrs. Bhagya Lakshmi and others.
