Important Instructions to be Followed on CAT 2022 Exam Day

CAT 2022 will be conducted by IIM Bangalore across multiple cities in India on November 27th, 2022. The exam will be conducted through Computer Based Test mode in three shifts. The admit cards have been issued by the authority and are available on the official website, in case anyone is yet to download them. CAT 2022 is a national-level entrance exam for management courses and is widely accepted by most management institutes. So, while appearing for the CAT 2022 exams, candidates are required to follow certain instructions to avoid hassle or inconveniences on or before the exam on the exam day. So, candidates are advised to follow them keenly.

CAT 2022 Exam Day Instructions

Here are some of the instructions to be followed by the candidates to avoid any problems at the last minute for CAT 2022 Exam Day:

Be Punctual

The CAT 2022 Admit Card will contain details on the reporting time for each candidate as per their examination schedule. However, it is advisable to reach the examination venue 30 minutes before the scheduled reporting time to avoid any late arrival. Candidates will have to undergo verification at the entrance gate before entering the examination hall. 

Carry the necessary Documents

Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall if they are not prepared with the list of documents required for CAT 2022 exam. All candidates must necessarily carry these documents: 

• CAT 2022 Admit Card
• Photo ID Card (Aadhar card/Driving license/PAN Card/Passport)

Do not Carry Prohibited items

If any candidate is found the possession of any prohibited items, the CAT 2022 examination of the particular candidate will be disqualified with immediate effect. So, candidates must ensure to check their pockets and their body so as not to carry any of the prohibited items, even unknowingly. 

Avoid malpractice

Another important point that candidates should note is that they should not take up malpractice. Cheating or attempting to cheat will not be tolerated, and the candidate will be cancelled from appearing for the further CAT 2022 exams. No requests will be entertained by the authorities.
