It takes several hours to rebuild communication with people stuck in the areas where natural disasters occur. People get separated from their families and friends in the chaos. Many suffer great casualties as it takes the rescue team time reaches the site. All this because there is no way to fill the communication gap.

Acknowledging this major problem, Patel invented Exigency, the drone that can set up immediate response system that will serve as a communication medium in the area and will help save the lives of people.

Explaining the concept behind his invention, Patel said that drones can be used for much more than simply flying and taking landscape images. In order to use them better, he wanted to use them for natural disaster management.
