In order to promote research and education at doctorate level amongst women, Indian Government’s Department of Science and Technology and Indo-US Science and Technology Forum have invited applications for the fellowship programme in STEMM courses.
Women who have pursued Ph.D. in the field of science, engineering, technology, mathematics and medicine can apply for this fellowship scheme. Aspiring women can submit applications for the programme latest by February 28, 2018, in online mode. No offline applications will be accepted for the Indo-US Fellowship.

Eligibility Criteria for Indo-US Fellowship in STEMM 2018:
- Only women can apply for the fellowship programme and must be of 27 to 50 years of age in order to be eligible.
- Aspiring women must possess a Ph.D. in either technology, science, engineering, medicine or mathematics from an institution recognized by the AICTE, UGC or HRD Ministry.
- Applicants must also have a regular working position in either of the academic institutions recognized by the government.
IUSSTF Scholarship Reward:
Candidates who will be shortlisted for this scheme will be given a monthly stipend of USD 3000, health insurance worth of USD 1000, airfare up to USD 2500, contingency up to USD 750 and conference allowances of up to USD 1000.

The Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF), was established in March 2000 under an agreement signed between the Governments the United States of America and India. It is a non-profitable, autonomous society that encourages Indo-US bilateral collaborations in STEMM programme research through collaborations and talks between government, academia and industry.
