Find step by step process to actively choose an option for the INI CET Round 1 seat allotment for January 2026.
Step 1: Navigate to the official portal and log in using your INI CET credentials within the specified time period.
Step 2: Check your Round 1 seat allotment status.
Step 3: Select one option:
- Option 1: Accept the allotted seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds.
- Option 2: Accept the allotted seat and wish to participate in Round 2 for possible upgradation.
Step 4: Submit your choice and download the confirmation slip for future reference.
Note: Failing to complete these steps within the deadline will lead to automatic cancellation of your allotted seat.
If a seat is allotted to you in Round 1, you must complete the online acceptance process from December 19 (11 AM) to December 24 (5 PM). During this period, you must use the “Actively Choose” option. Your seat is not automatically secured unless you log in and select one of the available options. You can either accept the allotted seat and exit further rounds, or accept the seat while choosing to participate in Round 2 for possible upgradation. If you fail to log in or select an option within the deadline, your allotted seat will be forfeited, and you will become ineligible for the second round of counselling.
