
Lakshmibai College, Delhi University commemorated the International Youth Day on 12th August in their college premises with great fervor.
The day was packed with a number of events including talks by eminent speakers; energetic demonstration of self-defence by the Parivartan cell of Delhi Police and vibrant nukkad natak by the college Navrangg Society. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation of students as well as teachers of the college.
Dr. Nityananda Agasti (Delhi State In-charge of Vivekanand Centre) shared his views on “Youth and Spirituality” and he motivated students to have an inquisitive mind and take inspiration from Swami Vivekanand.
The Principal Dr. Pratyush Vatsala shared her personal experiences of getting motivation from the learning of Swami Vivekanand. She encouraged the students to develop the zeal and spirit to become a special face in the crowd. The programme ended with vote of thanks proposed by the Principal.
