GGSIPU, also known as the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi has invited applications for IPU CET 2017 ie. the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test beginning 16th February 2017.
Candidates and interested applicants willing to apply for undergraduate level engineering courses and programmes can apply through the official website of the university. IPU CET 2017 applications are only available in an online mode. The last date to submit duly filled in applications for IPU CET 2017 is 4th April 2017.

The IPU CET 2017 application consists of two parts - one contains requirements related to personal and general information. The second one asks for details regarding the courses you are interested in and fee payments. It is important to note that the payment can only be done in the online mode.
Before filling the IPU CET 2017 application form, you must note that there are some changes in the eligibility criteria of the popular B.Tech programmes offered at the colleges affiliated to GGSIPU. These include:
- Qualifying marks: A candidate must have cleared class 12th from a recognised board such as CBSE or Central Board of Secondary Education, with at least 55% marks or aggregate percentage, instead of the earlier 50%. The major subjects include Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry mandatorily. One is also required to have passed all the other subjects individually/separately as well. Also note, English, as a subject of study, is a mandatory requirement.
- Aadhaar Number: Applicants must a valid Aadhaar Card while filling the IPU CET 2017 application form.

Please note that the candidates who qualify in the IPU CET 2017 will be offered admissions to Bachelor of Technology or B.Tech programmes based on their merit and ranks.
