Is APAAR ID mandatory for NEET 2025 registration? : NTA has cleared all the doubts regarding APAAR ID through a recent notification, stating that APAAR ID is not mandatory for NEET 2025 registration . Candidates shall continue to register using the details or documents available. However, it is still advisable for candidates to use APAAR ID for registrations for their benefit, as it provides a unique student ID, facilitates students' academic performance monitoring, and provides security for academic record keeping.

For NEET 2025 registration, candidates are required to provide their Aadhaar card details to ensure a seamless registration process. However, with the introduction of APAAR ID, candidates may also provide their Aadhaar card details and APAAR ID to complete the registration process, which is optional for the candidates. To avoid any hassles during the examination, candidates are advised to access their update their Aadhaar card details. Candidates registering with their APAAR ID will have to update their Aadhar card details and APAAR ID to match the information mentioned in their Class 10 mark sheet or passing certificate.
