JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result on February 12: Any change in result date expected?

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results will be released on February 12, 2026, as confirmed by NTA. No date change is expected for the results, which will likely be out in the evening/night on jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA will release scores as a scorecard, including a toppers list and AIR.

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result Release Date: The National Testing Agency has already announced the official release date of the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam a few days back, via its “X” account. As per the announcement, the JEE Main Session 1 result will be live on February 12, 2026 , on the official website of the NTA. And there is no further chance of not releasing the session 1 result on that said date. For instance, the NTA has also declared that the official date of releasing the JEE Main Session 1 provisional answer key and UGC NET result 2026, and the same have already been published as per the said date.

The authority is yet to declare the official time of releasing the JEE Main Session 1 result; it is likely to be published in the evening or at night on the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. The authority will issue the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result in the form of a scorecard. Along with the result, the authority will also release the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 toppers list and their All India Rank (AIR).

Since the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam was held in multiple shifts and multiple days, and the difficulty level of all the shifts was not the same, the NTA will implement the Normalization method to maintain parity in releasing the results. And also, the raw obtainable scores in the JEE Main Session 1 exam will be converted into a percentile to determine the AIR.

If two or more candidates get the same score in the JEE Main Session 1 exam, then the NTA will apply the tie-breaking rule to allot a unique rank for the individual candidates. For instance, the NTA score in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry consecutively will get higher preferences to secure a higher rank than the rest of the candidates who got similar scores in the Session 1 exam.
