JEST 2024 Registration Last Date: For all research aspirants who want to pursue Ph.D. in Physics/Theoretical Computer Science/Neuroscience/Computational Biology from any of the premium institutes of the country through JEST 2024 shall take note that the January 24, 2024 is the last date to apply for the exam. The Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) is being organised to fill admissions in Ph.D./Integrated Ph.D. programmes in various participating institutes each year. The eligible candidates have the last chance to fill out the JEST 2024 registration form for this session till tomorrow. JEST 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates preparing to pursue a Ph.D. programme from any of the JEST participating institutes must fulfil the following eligibility requirements:

• Completed an M.Sc in Physics from a recognised university (accepted in all participating institutes) OR
• Completed an M.Sc in Mathematics/Applied Physics/Applied Mathematics/Optics and Photonics/Instrumentation/Electronics from a recognised university (accepted only in IIA) OR
• Completed an M.Sc in Physics/Electronics/Astronomy/Applied Mathematics from a recognised university (accepted only in IUCAA and NCRA-TIFR) OR
• Completed an M.Sc in Physics/Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from a recognised university (accepted only in IPR) OR
• Completed an M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry/Applied Mathematics/Biophysics/Bio-chemistry from a recognised university (accepted only in SNBNCBS) OR
• Completed an M.Sc in Physics/Astronomy/Optics/Photonics/Biophysics/Mathematics or an M.E./M.Tech from a recognised university (accepted only in RRI) OR
• Completed a B.E./B.Tech from a recognised university (accepted in IISc, IMSc, ICTS-TIFR, IUCAA, JNCASR, NCRA-TIFR, TIFR-TCIS, RRI, IISER Mohali, IISER Pune, and IISER Thiruvananthapuram)
