A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the DAIC (under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment) and JNU authorities for socio-economic transformation and to increase research activities. It will also work towards policy formulation and sustainable development. The new course helps the aspirants understand the dynamics of Indian society and the importance of social equality in a country.
According to the official statement of the Ministry, two organisations will work towards socio-economic rights like social equality and others. Both the parties have recognised benefits which can be derived from collaboration, promotion and research. They will help in improving the research quality and will also offer research training, conferences and lecture series for the students.
