Joint Admission Board Extends Registration Date of AAT 2016

AAT-Architectural Aptitude Test is a national exam for architecture. This exam is conducted by the seven zonal IITs with guidance from the Joint Admission Board.

The online registration for Architectural Aptitude Test (AAT) 2016 was supposed to end on 13th June’ 16 but it was extended till 14th June’ 16.

Students who wish to take admission to the B.Arch courses will have to appear for AAT 2016. Students who have cleared/ qualified JEE (Advanced) 2016 are eligible to appear for AAT. Interested students can register themselves for AAT 2016 online through the JEE Advanced official website.

No kind of separate admit card will be released for AAT 2016, students will be required to bring their original JEE Advanced admit card at the time of examination.

Duration of the exam will be 3 hours and the exam will consist of only one paper. And the medium of the exam will only be english. The cut off for passing AAT will be released by the Joint Implementation Committee.

Dates to Remember:

  • AAT 2016 result expected to declare on- 19th June’ 16
  • Allotment of seat for AAT will begin from- 20th June’ 16
  • Allotment of seat for AAT will close on- 19th July’ 16

The seat allotment procedure for AAT 2016 will be based according to the category-wise all India rank in JEE Advanced 2016.
