KEA released the fee structure, final seat matrix and verification slip of KCET already which indicates that the authority is preparing for the counselling process. KCET Option Entry 2024 dates are expected to be released either on July 20 or 21, and the option entry is most likely to begin after July 22. The official dates of the KCET 2024 option entry will be updated here as and when KEA releases the same. Meanwhile, the candidates can go through the live blog below for details on colleges, courses and seat matrix.
| Till 8:55 PM on July 20, KEA did not upload the schedule for KCET Option Entry 2024. As the fee structure for B.Tech confirmed, the option entry will begin soon. Meanwhile, KEA is yet to confirm the fee structure for other courses. As July 21 is Sunday, the chances of releasing schedule are less. We will update the dates as and when KEA updates the same. |

Steps to fill KCET Option Entry Form 2024
The candidates are advised to refer to the following steps to filling out the KCET options during the choice-filling process:
Step 1 | Visit the official website- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in and select the UG CET 2024 option. Find out the KCET Option Entry link under the latest notification section |

Step 2 | Before starting to fill out the options, candidates should download the verification slip 2024 and check out the verification status. Hence, the candidates will find out whether they are eligible for the option entry process or not |
Step 3 | Now click on the KCET option entry link. Enter the CET number and open the option entry portal |
Step 4 | Candidates will find the list of participating colleges and available courses on the screen. Note, that candidates should choose the colleges and courses as per their priority |
Step 5 | Candidates should mark the priority number for each college and course and there is no limitation on the choosing number of colleges |
Step 6 | Next, the candidates should click on the “View selected choices” and go through the checklist selected by them before submitting it |
Note, that the candidates will have the provision to modify the choices by the selected dates. For the same, the candidates need to log in using the CET number and should click on the “Modify Selected Option”. So that they can change the priority numbers or can add new colleges or courses. Lastly, they should update the option.
