Kerala SET January 2026 registration has started: The registration process of Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) January 2026 is now available. The LBS Centre for Science and Technology, the examining body, has released the notification and has invited applications for the online application from eligible candidates for the post. Kerala SET is a must-pass test for candidates who want to become Higher Secondary School and VHSE (Non-Vocational) teachers in Kerala.

As per the official notification, the Kerala SET January 2026 Registration deadline is November 28, 2025 , and the last date for fee submission is November 30, 2025 . Registration. Applicants must attach a recent passport-size colour photograph in the specified dimensions and format while registering. Bad quality photo- An unclear photograph may also result in the rejection of the application form. The candidates should fill in all the information carefully, as all the information supplied by the candidate should be exactly the same as in his/her academic record.

Kerala SET January 2026: Stepwise Procedure to Apply Online

The candidates who are interested in applying for the SET Exam can go through this page to know the application procedure.

Step 1: Visit the official website of LBS SET January 2026 registration.

Step 2: Type your Mobile Number and verify it with the OTP you received on your Mobile.

Step 3: Create a password/access key and keep your Registration ID for future reference.

Step 4: Provide your name, DOB, category, address, email, and other personal information as per your documents.

Step 5: Enter your credential details like PG degree, B.Ed, passing year, university, and marks/percentage.

Step 6: Pick Paper-II subject and test district (Paper-II is subject/ field specific).

Step 7: Upload the latest passport-size coloured photo and sign in the prescribed dimensions and file size. Also, upload any category/reservation certificates as applicable.

Step 8: All the fields Carefully check all details on the preview page.

Step 9: Pay the applicable fee using debit/credit card or net banking, and wait for confirmation of payment.

Step 10: Submit the application, save the confirmation page, and take a printout of the submitted application along with the fee receipt.

Instructions to Upload the Photograph in KSET January 2026 Application Form

Candidates are required to upload their recent passport-size colour photograph in the prescribed format vide the official guidelines.

The photograph must be up-to-date (not older than 12 months).
The size of the image should be 150 × 200 pixels.
The file size should be less than 30 KB.
Background must be plain white or a light colour.
The candidate’s face should be fully visible – no cap, goggles, or shadow.
The photo must be in .jpg or .jpeg format.
Make sure the photo is cropped correctly and is not blurry.
Entries with unclear or invalid photos will not be entertained.
