Only 4 days are left for medical aspirants to complete the registration process, who wish to appear for the phase 2 exam of NEET 2016. The last date to fill in the application form is June 25. After June 25, no candidate will be allowed to register for the exam.
For those who have already registered for AIPMT 2016/ NEET 1, registration as a new applicant for the Phase 2 of the NEET exam is not required as per the rule by CBSE which is also the conducting body of the exam. Such students can use the AIPMT registration number to apply for NEET exam phase 2.
Note: If a student registers for both the exams separately, then his/ her candidature will be cancelled for both the exams.However, they can use their AIPMT 2016 registration number to apply for NEET 2016 Phase 2. Thus, they will loose their candidature for AIPMT 2016/ NEET 1 and will also not be able to appear for NEET 2.
The registration process for NEET phase 2 has been divided into 3 parts:
- 1st part: Obtaining the required registration number
- 2nd part and 3rd part: Upload your picture, making online payment or through bank challan.
- The last date to submit the fee for NEET phase 2 through e-challan was June 21, while through other modes, the date is June 25.
According to an order led by the Supreme Court, only those candidates who have not applied for the AIPMT/ NEET 1 which was held on May 1, are eligible to register for NEET 2.
However, candidates can appear for NEET phase 2 irrespective of the fact if they have appeared for AIPMT or NEET 1 or not.
Candidates will have to show the scores secured by them in NEET 1 to sit for the NEET exam phase 2.
The NEET 2016 phase 2 will be conducted on July 24, 2016.
